From the entire Bridal Atelier Montclair team, we’re pleased to share our wonderful experience attending the 2023 National Bridal Market held in New York, NY. This year, as always, all of our favorite designers brought their A-game, introducing to us plenty of new wedding dress styles to swoon over. Here are a few of the featured bridal trends that we just couldn’t get enough of:
Artfully Exposed Skirts
Liel by Dana Harel & Nantucket by Anne Barge
Artfully exposed skirts proved to be one of this year’s market favorites. Liel by Dana Harel shown above features a unique, high-low skirt design, offering you best of both worlds: the drama of a train, and the modern appeal of a short dress. Beside Liel, Nantucket by Anne Barge features a high leg slit within its full, ball gown skirt, allowing you to show off your bridal pumps, as well as invite some extra breeze movement to keep your look fluttering!
Removable Sleeves
Sonata by Caroline Castigliano
For the bride wanting two looks in one gown, without splurging on a second reception dress or taking too much time on a costume change, removable sleeves are the way to go. Sonata by Caroline Castigliano shown above is a strapless sheath bridal gown that gives you two options for your sleeve style: delicate spaghetti straps crafted out of tiny florals, or dreamy off-the-shoulder cap sleeves made of embroidered illusion mesh.
Lace Bodices
Mary-Catherine by Sareh Nouri & Ophelia by Kelly Faetanini
Lace bodices elevate wedding dresses with a touch of romantic femininity. Mary-Catherine by Sareh Nouri shown above features a solid, sweetheart bodice that extends into illusion mesh long sleeves and a high neckline, giving this gown an exquisitely regal aura. Ophelia by Kelly Faetinini features a plunging V-neckline and tiny cap sleeves, all generously adorned with lace details. This elegant style is perfect for the bride with her heart set on a flirty look.
