Real Wedding: Sofia and Andrew

Real Wedding: Sofia and Andrew

Fall weddings have a unique, cozy feeling that we’ve always found heightens the romance of a wedding perfectly—and Sofia and Andrew’s Oberod Estate wedding shows that perfectly. Details in everything, from their dog’s adorable suit to favors at the reception, showed off the couple’s unique personal style and made the entire wedding that much sweeter.

To complement the cool, fall weather, Andrew personalized his classic look by opting for a navy colored velvet tuxedo jacket. Matching Andrew, the couple’s dog wore his own tiny tuxedo, joining in on the day’s festivities and giving the wedding party an adorable addition.

We love Sofia’s stunning Savin London wedding dress—from the sheer, floral applique overlay of the skirt to the plunging neckline and low, open back, this dress beautifully blends ethereal beauty, whimsical design, and sophistication. Sofia chose to complement her dress with a pair of feathered earrings, which gives a touch of her personality to the dress. She completed the look with a strappy pair of nude heels for a peek of fun that wouldn’t overpower the dress.

The ceremony was held in a chapel with a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside, with the trees showing off pale shades of gold to celebrate the couple’s marriage and embracing the day with a warm glow. The bridesmaids’ dresses matched the gold nearly perfectly, adding to the cozy feeling the fall weather gave the ceremony. The light gold paired beautifully with the deep red of the florals, with huge, burgundy roses punctuating the ceremony for a subtle pop of color.

After the ceremony, guests could find disposable cameras to capture memories of the day, tissues in case things got emotional, and thoughtful blankets to keep warm in the chilly weather. The couple enjoyed an intimate dinner with their guests, ending the day surrounded by loved ones excited to celebrate their new marriage.
