It is important to us that you feel at ease and comfortable when shopping for your wedding dress. This is why trying on dresses at the right time is so important. The lead time for a wedding dress to arrive and be altered is more than most brides think, and the last thing a bride wants to feel while shopping for her dress is rushed!
When it comes to wedding dress shopping, it’s ill advised to wait until the last minute. When planning your wedding, finding a wedding dress should be your first priority after booking your venue. Our designer wedding dresses can take anywhere between six and eight months to make and deliver, so we always recommend ordering 12-14 months before your wedding to allow time for delivery and alterations. This ensures fabrics/laces can be ordered with plenty of time and production is seamless! 2023 is an extremely busy year for production due to the high volume of weddings still rolling out since covid, and design studios are at full capacity. Some designers are able to rush ship dresses, however not all designers are able and if you’re shopping late this then limits your options to only designers who can accommodate a rush. Rush shipping is an additional cost from $500-$800.

Once you’ve booked your shopping appointment, getting an idea of what styles and silhouettes you're interested in beforehand is very helpful. It's best to have the mindset of finding your dress when shopping, this way you’re able to be present in the moment and know when it feels right! Some ways to help yourself get into the right mindset is to create a Pinterest board, a save board on Instagram or a wishlist on our website.
