Alteration needs vary from bride to bride and gown to gown, and alteration costs are not included in the price of your wedding dress.

Our boutique carries a curated selection of wedding dresses from each of our designers. A bridal trunk show is a special event where a designer sends us an extended selection of gowns, often including styles from their newest collection.

If you love a particular bridal designer, a trunk show is the perfect opportunity to explore more of their wedding dresses in person. Trunk show appointments tend to book quickly, so we recommend scheduling your appointment as early as possible.

Our designer wedding gowns range from $3,500 to $13,000, with the majority priced between $5,000 and $9,500.

While our opening price point is approximately $3,500–$4,500, the selection within this range is limited. We recommend a budget of at least $4,000 for a broader selection of wedding dresses.

Our wedding dress sample sizes typically range from 6-12, with the average being a size 10.

We have several creative fitting techniques that allow us to give you the best possible idea of how a gown will look and fit when ordered in your size.

Our bridal appointments are 90 minutes, while accessory and alteration appointments are 60 minutes. This gives our stylists plenty of time to get to know you, understand your personal style and wedding vision, and guide you through our curated selection of designer wedding dresses.

All of our bridal appointments are private, meaning you and your guests will be the only clients in the boutique during your scheduled appointment.

Because Bridal Atelier Montclair is by appointment only, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

A $75 fee applies to cancellations, no-shows, or appointment changes made with less than 48 hours' notice. This policy is a courtesy to our stylists and other brides. We appreciate your understanding.

Wedding dress shopping is a special experience, but having too many opinions can sometimes feel overwhelming. We recommend bringing 2-4 guests whose opinions you value most and who understand your personal style. Keeping your group small helps keep the focus on you and your wedding dress experience.

Our boutique accommodates a maximum of 4 guests due to space limitations. If you'd like to bring more than four people, please contact us in advance so we can discuss whether additional arrangements can be made.

We recommend wearing skin-toned undergarments and, if possible, bringing shoes with a heel height similar to what you may wear on your wedding day. Shapewear or a comfortable bra is also perfectly fine.
